Accomodation
For accomodation please make use of the appropriate page of the Duesseldorf city homepage, follow the link.

Alcohol
When handling animals in public alcohol simply isn't professional. We kindly ask everybody to drink alcohol during opening hours of the BEE only in the catering areas. Exhibitors and visitors that bother or put others at risk will be expelled from the exhibition area according to householder's rights.

ATM
The next ATM is about 500 metres away in direction to the inner city/main railway station at the Kölner Straße.

Bank Note Testing
At the information desk we will provide the opportunity to check bank notes from 100 euros upwards with a testing apparatus. We will not take any responsibility for the testing results.

Booking of Stands

The best way to book stands is to use the
online booking form.

Catering

The householder cooperates with a local caterer so you will be able to purchase food items and drinks.

Copy Machine

If you need photo copies (size A4) you can get them at the information desk. The copies are liable to pay the costs, check the announcement for prices.

Electricity
Electricity (230 V alternating current) is supplied from the top of the exhibition halls. Your consumption is included in the stand fee. Please keep in mind to bring your own extension leads and multiple sockets.

Event Magazine
There will be an event magazine especially produced and printed in sufficient numbers for every BEE. It will contain information around the event and additional information dealing with this special interest as well. You can use this platform to place your advertisement, please
contact us.

Exhibitor Documents
Exhibitors will receive the necessary documents on the day of the event at the vendors' entrance.

Feeding Rodents
Offensively smelling feeding animals like rats or mice will be offered in a separate room so allergic visitors and smell sensitive animals will be spared.

Forms
You can obtain forms to declare your animals and forms to certify the origin of the animals for small money at the information desk. Much simpler: Make use of the opportunity do
download these forms, and print them in sufficient numbers before the expo.

Garbage Bins
You will find large garbage bins everywhere in the building. Please make good use of them and contribute to making the BEE, their exhibitors and visitors welcome at the Philipshalle.

Gas Station
The next gas station (Shell) is located at the Kölner Landstraße close to the exit from A 46 highway.

Information Desk
Right at the entrance you'll find an information desk available throughout the whole expo day where you can get photo copies, contact the vet, etc. The information desk personnel will strive to meet all your expectations as fast and good as possible. If something isn't possible or not right at the moment please understand that even these people have only two eyes, ears and hands to take the best possible care of you.

Lecture Rooms
The lecture room is at the ground floor of the Philipshalle. You reach them via stairs or the elevator in the entrance hall. To check the

Loading and Unloading
Loading and unloading of products and animals will go through two entrances on the back side of the Philipshalle. See
Parking as well.

Mounting and Dismantling
Exhibition or large stands can be mounted on show day from 6 am. Dismantling starts after closing the entrance for public viewers at 16 hours and should be terminated at 8 pm at the lastest.

Opening Hours
Exhibitors can enter the building on the back door side from 6 am on event day. Public entrance starts at 9 am at the main entrance and ends at 15 hours.

Parking
Around the Philipshalle there are two large parking areas and enough parking spots. Please see the
Philipshalle home page for more information. The householder runs all the car parks.

Public Transport
The Philipshalle is very well connected by several public transport systems. You'll find
stations and stops of commuter trains, the subway, the tram, and public busses close to the expo hall. Duesseldorf is very well connected via long-distance trains and an international airport as well. For more information please check the homepage of the Philipshalle.

Reservation
Yes, you can make long-term reservations and keep your stands for several events so your customers don't need to look out for you. Please
contact us.

Restrooms
You will find several toilette rooms at ground lower level of the Philipshalle, using them is free of charge. Like everywhere else: While using them please contribute to making the BEE and their visitors welcome at the event location.

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the whole building throughout the expo day including the foyer and the catering areas out of respect for other visitors and the animals. Please go outdoors for smoking.

Storage of Animals
The BEE service team at the information desk will provide an area to store animals that you have bought on the expo. Visitors will have access to this area from 9 am. Please note: All animals must me securely packed in solid boxes. Textile bags are not sufficient for storage. Feeding animals
can't be stored at this area. When leaving your animals you will receive an identification mark. Please store it safely, you will get your animals back by handing over this ID tag. There will be no liability for animals or their state of health during storage.

Suggestions
Do you have suggestions to improve the event? You can put them down in writing at the information desk or send them via
e-mail. We will try to improve at the next expo. We are also happy to receive approval if everything was to your satisfaction.

Venomous Snakes
Snakes of the generae Viperidae, Elapidae, and Crotalidae plus the rear-fanged snakes of the genera Dispholidus, Thelotornis, and Rhabdophis are restricted to the special venomous room of the BEE. Rear-fanged snakes and Helodermatidae that are not life-threatening are allowed without restrictions.
If you don't have experience with venomous snakes we recommend: If you are interested in these beautiful and fascinating animals please contact a serious breeder or keeper, for example at the BEE, collect information about the species, and make a private appointment with the vendor. This way you can also check his/her facilities so you get a better idea of the challenges you will be facing with your decision and purchase.

Veterinarian
During the BEE there will be a vet with reptile knowledge available. To contact him/her please ask at the information desk.

Water
You can tap and dispose of water at the lower level of the Philipshalle in the social rooms.
