Third BEE on 15. March 2009

plakat1I'd like to start my short review of the third BEE addressing my thanks to those vendors that believe in the concept of the show and support it against all criminal circumstances and obstacles. To illustrate the embarrassing crimimal energy and intention the BEE is facing here's a photograph taken on 14. March 2009 in Hamm, where our outdoor poster was attacked by some small minded people. On top of this those presumably responsible and their henchmans came around in Rheda and harrassed our customers. It seems that this party has lost every sense of tort.

Public order office and veterinary office after thorough inspection again have expressed that the BEE is a role model for all shows of this kind. Even though there was a puppy in the expo area behind a stand with an exception permit. In the future we will take precautions against fake bookings. However, I can only repeat the praise we heard from nearly all visitors and vendors alike: this is the way an animal expo should and must be.

Many thanks to our speakers that shared their limitless knowledge with the audience. Stefan Moeller from Leipzig spontaneously stepped in for Bernhard Queißer, who turned seriously ill on short notice. Bernhard already promised to hold his lecture later on. Here you can have a quick look at the content of the lectures. Just click the links. To have a look at the
program of lectures for the next BEE you can click here as soon as it is fixed.

Stefan Moeller (Leipzig): Rat Snakes of the Genus Zamenis: Keeping and Breeding
Dr. Silvia Blahak (Detmold): Common Diseases of Snakes

Finally I don't want to miss addressing my warmest thanks to our team. You have proved again, that friendlyness and service are possible. I just want to give one example: We provided only one check-in point for about 160 vendors – however the waiting time was maximal two minutes. Boys and girls: You've done a great job!

You can download the
BEE expo brochure ot the 15. March 2009 show as PDF (sorry, only German) here. If there's enough interest we may translate the brochure of the next show into English.
